The Programs Comparison table shows how the requirements for a major in an Associate degree compare with the requirements for a major in a Bachelor's degree as well as which courses satisfy those requirements.

These requirements are based on CUNY's audit software (DegreeWorks) and can be used to determine financial aid eligibility and graduation requirements. If there are any differences between what you see here and the college bulletin, please let us know. In all cases, the college bulletin is the definitive source of information about requirements.

Additional considerations as you use this information

• How courses transfer and apply to degree requirements can vary based on a number of factors including: grades received in a course, residency requirements at the destination college or program (the number of credits a college or program requires be taken at that institution in order to receive a degree from that institution), the year in which a course was taken, whether or not a student has completed a previous degree, CUNY policies, etc.
• Transfer Explorer displays information directly from CUNY source systems, but cannot account for all factors and scenarios you may encounter.
• Official decisions about acceptance of course credit are made by your destination college.
• You are encouraged to use Transfer Explorer to research options and inform your discussions with colleges you may attend.
• Plan your transfer early and be sure to inform the college you will attend about all your past courses, degrees, certifications, exams, and learning experiences.
