COREQ: MA114 OR 440 OR 441 OR 119 NOTE: ET110 MUST BE COMPLETED WITH A GRADE OF C OR BETTER BEFORE A STUDENT WILL BE PERMITTED TO REGISTER FOR ADVANCED COURSES IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

Hours: 3.0 Laboratory hours, 3.0 Lecture hours
An introductory course to the fundamentals and basic principles of DC and AC circuits. Topics include: resistance, voltage, current, Ohms Law, Kirchoffs laws, power, superposition, network theorems, Thevenins and Nortons Theorems, maximum power transfer, introduction to AC, capacitors and inductors. Laboratory hours complement class work. Note: ET-110 must be completed with a grade of C or better before the student will be permitted to register for more advanced courses in electrical or computer engineering technology.
