A study of the basic principles of accounting, including the accounting cycle, journalizing, posting, preparation of a trial balance, worksheet, adjusting entries and closing entries. Special journals and subsidiary ledgers are discussed. Emphasis is given to cash accounts, accounts and notes receivable, inventories, plants and assets and payroll.
