Its purpose is to introduce students to basic principles of logic used in communication and reasoning. The course is designed to help students improve their analytical reasoning skills and develop the habits of critical thinking essential to college-level work in any subject. It focuses on the methods of analyzing various kinds of arguments in natural language.
