NOT OPEN TO STUDENTS WITH CREDIT IN CHEM 412; PREREQUISITE: BIO 202 and [ {CHEM 231 AND CHEM 232 } or {CHEM 230 AND CHEM 235} ]

Hours: 3.0 Lecture hours
Enzyme systems and their control, intermediary metabolism; transport mechanisms and role in cell function; structure of nucleic acids; protein synthesis. The interrelationship of these processes and effects of disease will be stressed. Not open to students with credit in CHEM 412.
