MATH *1201 WITH A GRADE OF C- OR HIGHER IS REQUIRED TO TAKE THIS COURSE. NOT OPEN TO STUDENTS WHO COMPLETED MATH 4101.

Hours: 4.0 Lecture hours
3 hours lecture, 1 hour recitation; 3 credits Matrix algebra. Systems of linear equations. Determinants. Vector spaces. Linear independence. Linear transformations. Inner product spaces. (Not open to students who are enrolled in or have completed Mathematics 4101.) Students who have completed both Mathematics 1711 and Mathematics 2101 will receive only 3 credits for Mathematics 1711 and only 2 credits for Mathematics 2101. Prerequisite: Mathematics *1201
